I want to come back to the cook?s daily tasks, cleaning truffles that I will then shave, remove the pomp and replace it with simplicity ? all of this in an intimate setting that reflects my personality.
At 16 avenue Bugeaud in Paris, I created with Anne-Cécile Comar a space surrounded by interlaced strips of wood, like a basket with us at the heart. A basket from the field, a market basket, a basket that represents the Mediterranean sun.
The southern shutters create a play of light and shadow, vivid orange sets the lively mood, white tablecloths recall the pleasure of shared meals, slightly tarnished silverware conjures up family dishes. The setting is thoroughly urban, simple, warm and modern.
